Daibes is the Programme Manager of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung’s regional Political Feminism programme based in Beirut. Her work revolves around the formulation of alternative feminist strategies and the development of feminist perspectives on the most pressing socio-economic and political issues facing the MENA region. Farah’s work especially focuses on labor issues and the topic of the Future of Work with the aim to counter current and expected challenges that will face women within the green, digital and care economies. Farah has an MA in Project Management and has a background in communications, specifically in campaigning on gender issues. Previously, she worked in Jordan where she was involved in the design and implementation of various initiatives and campaigns that tackled issues such as discriminatory laws, gender stereotyping, toxic masculinity, and women’s economic and political participation.
